How to make and publish a web page
Create a folder
Choose a simple (no space) name for the folder
Download
Make a word document with some text and pictures
Save it as a webpage
Save the file as a webpage
Make sure you save it inside the folder
Make internal-external links
Make link to audio video
Make a link to YouTube
Embed Youtube Video
First Method (version 10) 1- Find your video on you tube 2- Copy the embed code
Remove version=3

Right Click / Properties
Insert the URL of youtube
Remove watch? =
Save the file as a webpage
Make sure you save it inside the folder
Publishing
Go to: ftp.csulb.edu
Input your CSULB username & password Your user name is the first part of your address
You will see this page
Open ftp site in Windows Explorer
Input your username & password again
Open the htdocs folder
Copy and paste your web page (the whole folder) into this htdocs folder
How to see your published webpage?
Visit your web apge Go to the following address user name/Folder Name/File Name.htm For example, e.htm
