Common Core State Standards The CCSS modules provide an introduction to the California Common Core Standards that address literacy in science.  integration of literacy  strategies for reading informational text  argumentative writing in science

Formative Assessment Teachers learn how to adapt instruction on the basis of evidence, making changes and improvements to their curriculum and instruction based on analysis of their students work.  Probes  Performance tasks  Pre-assessments

Workshop 1 (July 8-12) Teacher Leadership & IC Development for Alumni Teachers Continued preparation in discipline specific content and activities related to your grade level from CSU science faculty.
