Sharing The Story of Your Patients Use slides 3-6 in this outline as a guide to tell other teams at the Learning Session about your work using progesterone to prevent preterm birth. These slides should be customized to reflect your team’s work. Feel free to insert pictures and narratives to create a storyboard that you think best describes your two patients candidates. Add your site’s data graphs from Sharepoint to help illustrate your progress and opportunities. When you are finished adapting these slides, make a copy of each one and bring them with you to the Learning Session. You will be given a 40”x30” poster on a tripod and push pins to attach your storyboard. Please save your storyboard slides as a PowerPoint document with your hospital name, such as “BestHosp.Storyboard.ppt”. Send your storyboard to OPQC at by Friday,1/23/14. Review of Patient Case (#1) “Prescribing progesterone went well” How did you identify the need for progesterone? At what gestational age? What type of progesterone was prescribed? Were there any delays or obstacles to getting the progesterone and patient together? How did you solve those problems and how much time did that take? Describe any differences you may have noticed since you first started prescribing progesterone.

Review of Patient Case (#2) “Progesterone prescribing did not go well” How did you identify the need for progesterone? At what gestational age? What type of progesterone was prescribed? What problems did you run into ordering or administering progesterone? How much time did you spend trying to resolve this issue? What problems were you unable to solve? Do you have any ideas to share?
