 Transportation-An act or process of transporting or being transported  Snowshoes- a shoe made of wood that is bigger than a regular shoe and is used in winter  Birch Bark-The bark of a birch tree

 Sleds- A snow chariot pulled by an animal  Seasons-The different times of the year.  Terrain-The surface of an area of land.

 The Iroquois transportations in winter were snowshoes and sled. They used snowshoes mainly. They also walked, jogged and ran.

 They used many transportations in spring. They ran jogged and used canoes mainly. They also swam and walked.

 In summer, they used mostly the same transportations as they did in spring. They used waking, swimming, canoeing and they jogged.

 Finally, in Fall they used the exact same transportations as summer and spring. The same old walk, canoe, swim and jog. They might even use a sled if you look at the actual fall from September 22 through December 21 because it will snow in December so also snowshoes.

Bank Summary  Iroquois The Iroquois used  Canoes many different  Swimming transportations to  Sleds get around to other  Transport areas.  Travel  Transportation

We thought that working in the transportation group was pretty fun. We liked working together and we worked very hard on this power point and we enjoyed it as well.

What does terrain mean? What are the transportations that the Iroquois use in the fall? What were snowshoes made of?
