 Calculus is a branch of mathematics that is among the hardest to learn. It focuses on limits, function, derivatives, and integrals.  There are 2 types of Calculus-differential and integral.  It is the study of change and has many applications in science, economics, and engineering and can used to solve problems that algebra and other branches of math cannot.

 An equation is a mathematical statement that 2 expressions are equal. Here are some examples of equations:  These seem like an alien language but they are very useful in calculating changes.
