Presentation transcript:

We are learning about the French and Indian war. The governor of Virginia wrote a letter to the French telling them to stop the war and surrender. Their answer was that they weren't going to leave without a fight.

There are 8 planets. Mercury is the closest to the sun and has a lot of craters but has no life on it. The planet we live on is Earth.

In science class we learned about magnification and Robert Hooke and Anton Leeuwenhoek. We learned that Anton Leeuwenhoek's best magnifier was 300 x and we also looked through a microscope at things like a pencil and an ant.

In the Revolutionary War America was fighting the British and we won the war. We fought the war for freedom. The British were trying to rule us.

In social studies we learned about how to use a map and where things are on one. It had a key and showed every state in the U.S. and showed the deserts and great lakes and the mountains.

In social studies we learned that some places in America are lower then sea level but aren't under water. And we learned about the oceans that surround North America, the Atlantic and the Pacific.
