 “Service learning is a method of teaching, learning and reflecting that combines academic classroom curriculum with meaningful service, frequently youth service, throughout the community.”  (Wikipedia.org)

 Service Learning benefits the youth the most especially those who look up to us.  It shows them that anything can be done as long as they succeed in school.  It also give us a chance to realize how much of a difference we can make in our own communities.

 Not only visiting kids can help the community although I don’t have a picture I also gave blood to Red Cross this year.  I’m also an organ donor which won’t effect me in my lifetime but will effect others in theirs.

Introduction to The Youth Today we visited an elementary school and performed dunks to encourage reading.

Win and a Celebration with the kids The first game of the season afterwards we shot with the younger kids.

Usher This was a picture with my dad and I before a church service and ushering.

Goofing Around My nephew and I wrestling.

 The outcome from doing community service makes younger kids realize that they can do the same for others.  It also show how easy of an effort it can be to make someone’s day just by a simple action or visit.
