Rules Contributed by Terry McCarty The following presentation is a set of rules, consequences and rewards agreed by my classes. The rules posters incorporated icons associated with each desirable behaviour. These same icons can be used in praising people for following the rules and sanctioning them for breaking the rules. To make to rules stand out more the posters were created with the icons raised form the rest of the poster. This added a 3 dimensional element and made them more memorable for the students. All resources in the "Contributions" section of our resource bank have been submitted by delegates on our Taking Care of Behaviour Online course. Rewards Raffle tickets/ Reward charts. Collect enough to win a prize Praise on a post card/Olympic merits. If you follow the rules for an extended period of time you will receive one of these. Games/free time. If the whole class works well for the whole lesson we can play some games or have some down time for the last 5 minutes. Film/games lesson If the whole class works well all half term you can plan a film lesson or a games lesson.
