1 Service Delivery Point(s) for Multi-tenant Facilities An Overview Matt Imel Sr. Tariff Specialist PG&E December 8, 2011

Service Delivery Point(s) for Multi-tenant Facilities2 Service Delivery Point For purposes of the General Market Virtual Net Metering tariff, the Service Delivery Point (SDP) identifies the physical location at which the Generating Account and its designated Benefitting Accounts, and the eligible generating facility, are all connected with the IOUs Delivery Facilities. By definition, the Generating Account, its designated Benefitting Accounts and the eligible generating facility are located in the same physical location. The SDP is the physical demarcation between the IOU facilities serving these accounts and the customer

Service Delivery Point(s) for Multi-tenant Facilities3 From PG&E’s Electric Rule 16* SERVICE DELIVERY POINT: Where PG&E's Service Facilities are connected to either Applicant's conductors or other service termination facility designated and approved by PG&E. SERVICE FACILITIES: PG&E's Service Facilities shall consist of (a) primary or secondary underground or overhead service conductors, (b) poles to support overhead service conductors, (c) service transformers, (d) PG&E-owned metering equipment, and (e) other PG&E- owned service related equipment. * Service Delivery Point and Service Facilities are used and defined consistently by SCE and SDG&E in either Rule 1 (Definitions) or Rule 16 (Service Extensions)
