Bell Work Some authors, artists, musicians, and celebrities push the boundaries in their art and have been censored or banned. What are your thoughts about censorship vs. freedom of speech? Write ½ page to ¾ page.

Poetry on Fridays Using the titles of banned books, compose a poem. You may add a few words so your poem makes sense. Be prepared to share your writing.

HTRLLAP & Library Photo ◦I will be calling up some of you to the desk to check on your progress on HTRLLAP chapters. ◦The Library is putting together a slideshow of students and teachers reading banned books. Volunteers are needed to have their picture taken to be included in the slideshow.

Exit Ticket In your Agenda: ◦Monday by 11:59 p.m. – HTRLLAP - see my website for the chapter and question. ◦Turn in your bell work sheet for the week and turn in your poem.
