Billy's Wheezy Chest by Lesley C Hind Billy had a wheezy chest constantly tight and short of breath Winter, Summer it was all the same His asthma spoiled his fun and games Allergies, colds and exercise Seemed to make his asthma thrive One day he had a wheezing spasm And Billy's doctor was quickly summoned He prescribed for Billy a new inhaler To try and calm his chesty caper The nurse showed Billy how to use it And warned him he must never lose it Billy was back at school the next day With his new inhaler tucked away His friends ran into the yard to see him Struggling to breathe, coughing and wheezing Emma reached inside his jacket And pulled out his inhaler gadget A couple of puffs delivered the dose To where his chest needed it most Billy's inhaler was just the ticket He now joins in with the football and cricket A dose of inhaler before sport and play Helps to keep his asthma at bay
