Objectives/Goals Discuss and learn the basics of what a Zectangle is and how to create it. Practice basic Zentangle designs the first day of class on gridded sheet of paper. Create a Zentangle in black and white on a 12 by 18 sheet of paper. Create a large scale, more advanced Zentange with either a letter or tessellation in black and white and then incorporate color with colored pencils.

Standards Standard 1.0 Media, Techniques and processes. Students will understand and apply media, techniques and processes. Standard 2.0 Structures and functions Students will use knowledge of both structures and functions. Standard 3.0 Evaluation Students will choose and evaluate a range of subject matter, symbols and ideas.
