Bread of Life Kenya The First Year
Nairobi
The Orphans
Nearly 2 million people live in slums around Nairobi, that’s around 70% of the city’s population…
…many of these are children
Pray for:
The train that runs from Mombasa on the coast to Kisumu on the shores of Lake Victoria
Kisumu – the 3 rd largest city
The road leading to Kisumu from the south

Bread of Life Kenya was only christened as such in April 2007, however it has been supporting a community based project working with orphaned children in Kenya since 2005.
Saints Christian Children’s Home
Saints Christian Children’s Home (SCCH) works with orphaned girls in the district of Sije on the outskirts of Kisumu in Western Kenya
SCCH is currently caring for 10 orphaned girls, and provides a secure family environment for them.
They are given practical care, food, clothing, schooling and security.
They have been accepted as part of a new Christian family, prayed with and taught about the love of God.
Many of these girls have had traumatic experiences, have ongoing medical needs and struggle with the loss of their parents.
SCCH aims to help them come to terms with their loss, and grown into strong young adults with the hope of a good future
Bread of Life Kenya is now a registered charity, and hopes to support the work of SCCH through friendship and prayer for many years to come.
Thank you for your support
