 At the beginning of the semester, teachers worry about the (affect/effect) they will have on their student’s lives. Will their students (accept/except) the knowledge or (advice/advise) the teachers wish to disseminate to each student? Teachers spend countless hours preparing engaging lessons and intriguing spelling tests to make sure every aspect is (all ready/already) for their students arrival. If there is time (aloud/allowed) many teachers like to spend the first day of school getting to know their students to ensure a more engaged learning environment. However, (accept/except) for a small portion of the student population, most students like to get to know their teacher as well. Some students ask questions (aloud/allowed) of their teacher while others (all ready/already) know facts or interesting details about him/her. The (affect/effect) of knowing details about students and students knowing about teachers creates a harmonious classroom environment. If I could (advice/advise) you of one part of high school, it is to get to know your teachers.
