Setting  The setting is the time and place where the story takes place.  The story of the “Titanic” took place in The ship was scheduled to sail across the Atlantic for New York.

Characters  They are the people or imaginary figures in the story.  They can be good or bad, clever or stupid.  The main character is the protagonist.  In “Titanic”, Jack and Rose are the main characters.

Plot  The plot is the events of the story.  The characters’ motives and behavior create the plot.
