THE STRATEGIC PROCESS WHERE ARE WE & HOW DID WE GET HERE? WHERE DO WE WANT TO BE? HOW ARE WE GOING TO GET THERE?

WHERE ARE WE NOW & HOW DID WE GET HERE? In March 2002 our Diocesan Vision was adopted by Synod Conference From February - March a large scale conversation within our Diocese (2 500) to envision where we want to be in 10 years and the leader to take us there In July 2013 Diocesan Strategic Planning session to consult and identify priorities for the next 10 years In August 2015 THIS session to make all these discussions a reality!

WHERE ARE WE NOW & HOW DID WE GET HERE? Diocesan Vision

WHERE ARE WE NOW & HOW DID WE GET HERE? Diocesan Profile

WHERE ARE WE NOW & HOW DID WE GET HERE? Strategic Objectives A Ministry of All believers - Growing Disciples 1.Spiritual Formation 2.Vibrant Anglican Community 3.Visionary Servant Leadership 4.Walk our talk through Outreach 5.Prophetic Relevance 6.Sustainable Organization 7.Explanding our Footprint

WHERE DO WE WANT TO BE? If every disciple, parish, diocesan structure and organization works to explore what these Strategic Objectives mean in their specific context AND we all work consistently on this THEN our Strategic Plan will become a reality

THE BEST WAY TO IMPLEMENT STRATEGY IS TO.. DO IT!!

HOW DO WE GET THERE? ARCHDEACONARY CONVERSATIONS 1. Which one of these Strategic Objectives REALLY SPEAKS to you? 2. Where have you seen or heard of any example of any of our Strategic Objectives ALREADY BEING IMPLEMENTED? Tell us the story!!!! 3. How does your Archdeaconry suggest we take these ideas forward? Choose 1 or 2 stories to share with the whole group……….

SHARING STORIES & IDEAS

Strategic Objectives conversation to continue at Archdeaconary level 1 Strategic Objectives become a criteria for our decisions at every level Strategic Planning sessions to structure around Diocesan Strategic Objectives 3 THE WAY FORWARD

Closing remarks by Bishop Steve
