Working through country programmes

Delivering water and sanitation Levered project work: support and advise local partners on their use of other organisations’ expenditure on water and sanitation work. At least 500,000 water and 500,000 sanitation beneficiaries annually by WaterAid-funded project work: directly funded local partner organisations to implement water, sanitation and hygiene education provision. At least 1 million water and 1 million sanitation beneficiaries annually by 2010.
