In the Works Aleph Security Logins o Passwords must contain a combination of alpha and numeric characters. o New staff are required to change their password when logging in for the first time. o Passwords must be a minimum length of 8 characters, with a maximum of 10. o Passwords for staff must be changed every 6 months, with a warning to the user to appear 10 days before the current password’s expiration. It is recommended that usernames for student assistants be set to expire at the end of the term or other period at the time the username is set up. o Passwords that have not been used for 6 months will be blocked.
