Protect the Great Wall By 张上升

 Have you ever been to the Great wall?

 “If you haven’t been to the Great Wall, you aren’t a real man,” Mao Zedong once said.

 The Great Wall is the longest wall of the world.  The Great Wall is the wonder of the world.

 The Great Wall is a record of history.  The Great Wall is a part of Chinese geography—it’s marked on maps around the world.

 We Chinese people are proud of it.  And millions of people journey to the Great Wall each year.

BBut the Great wall are being ruined, for some people had no attention to the environment and protect the wall.

Rubbish  This is a big problem. A group have collected 2,000 cans,5,000 bottles, and a truckload of compressed garbage in spring 2002.

Someone built their home there.

 Construct something

Protecting the Great Wall is an unshakable responsibility of anyone who go near it! All of us should be advocates for its protection, so that it will stand forever as a witness of the development of human civilization
