Procedure for teaching vocabulary: Tr. establishes a context (a framework) in which to teach the word. This can be done by: Asking questions Making a statement Tr. conveys the meaning of a word through various devices, then the word should be used in a model sentence which will further convey the meaning through the context. Tr. checks sts. understanding of the words’ meanings. This can be done by: Asking close and low questions in which sts. responses will show whether or not they have understood the meanings. Asking open and low questions which will allow for various answers.

Procedure for teaching vocabulary: Tr. gives practices in the spelling of the words and its pronunciation by repeating the word in isolation from 3 to 5 times in various ways: Whole class repetition Group repetition Individual repetition Until they have no difficulties pronouncing it Tr. practices the use of the word by making activities Tr. should hangs or writes a model sentence on the board or their sts. note book using the new grammatical structure (questions and statements).
