New Chelsea Climate Description New Chelsea is an island east of Australia and north of New Zealand. The northern tip of this island just touches the Tropic of Capricorn. It lies in the path of a warm East Australia ocean current, and is located in the humid subtropical region. As a result, It has a tropical wet climate all year-round. Due to little climate change year-round, its precipitation is mostly rain every season. Summers are the rainiest, while winters are a bit dryer. The average precipitation is around 2.6 inches a month in the winter and around 6.6 a month in the summer. Average daily maximum temperature range from 59F in the winter to 77F in the summer. A mountain range stretches through the middle of the island. The highest peak reaches up to 2,000 meters above sea level. The mountain peaks are cool, but never gets up to a level where it snows. The capital, Lyon, which is at the eastern coast has a climate that is a little bit cooler than the areas inland, due to the fact that no mountains are acting as a windbreaker as it is to the south. Summers are rather hot and humid, while winters are mild and cool, but still moist.

Climate Concerns New Chelsea is an advanced island with factories all along the Central and Mazon Rivers. It spews out tons of Co2 every day. This though, causes the prediction that New Chelsea will be covered in water. It will also increase the island’s temperature by at least 5%. New Chelsea is getting droughts and hurricanes more and more often, resulting crop failures. The governing body is also trying to restrict the amount of waste produced every day.

Agriculture, Aquaculture, and Livestock Based on the climate in New Chelsea, it’s agriculture consists of sugarcanes, cotton, wheat, tropical fruits, wheat, potatoes, and also dairy products. It’s exports are coal, gold, meat, wool, alumina, iron ore, wheat, machinery, and transport equipment. The imports include computers, office machines, telecommunication equipment, and crude oil and petroleum products. The livestock in New Chelsea are mostly sheep and cows. New Chelsea also sells small amounts of fish that are not exported.
