Challenges Problems will not be clearly defined, data will be unavailable or hard to obtain The proper techniques might not be apparent, and team members might disagree about the right course of action Not only will you need to use material learned in classes; you will also have to learn new material. You might discover you are on the wrong track and need to redo significant portions of your work.

Deadlines 2th week: assignment of the companies/advisors 9th of November (7th week) –proposal presentations and submission of proposals 28th of December (14th week- last week of the courses) semester presentations First week of finals (6 th of January-Wednesday-last day for submission)- Report Submission

Literature review 1. Will tell you the degree to which the problem you have identified has already been researched. 2. Might give you ideas as to how to proceed in designing your study. 3. Provides new theoretical insights or develops a new model as the conceptual framework for your research. 4. Can point out methodological problems specific to the research question you are studying. 5. Convinces your reader that your proposed research will make a significant and substantial contribution to the literature (i.e., resolving an important theoretical issue or filling a major gap in the literature). 6. Will provide needed information for preparing the research report set your study in the context of prior studies discuss the results in relation to other studies
