b This is a portrayal of the night sky. This unrealistic painting uses a contrast in colors between the white stars and blue sky. The various colors used in this painting show the luminous colors used by Ardon. This is a stained glass window piece of art done by Ardon that is shown in a Jerusalem library. This specific section of the stained glass quotes a passage from the book of Isaiah.

This specific painting shows the abstract side to Ardon’s work. This painting can be interpreted many different ways. Also, this is another example of how Ardon uses a contrast of colors and many different bright colors This picture is another depiction of the night sky. This, again, is unrealistic but slightly more abstract. The lack of bright colors in this painting is unusual for Mordechai Ardon’s work.
