CFF Strategic Plan The Classroom of the Future Foundation partners business with the Regional Technology Center to provide equity of access to learning technologies that improve teacher and student achievement in San Diego County schools.  Providing financial and advisory support to the San Diego County Office of Education's Joe Rindone Regional Technology Center.  Supporting equitable use of existing and emerging technologies to benefit the 42 school districts in San Diego County, which includes 500,000 students and 25,000 teachers.  Supporting the TIME Innovation Office to enroll school districts in the TIME Vision and provide assistance to implement a plan to realize the vision.

Strategic Initiative I: Organizational Capacity Expanded from 7 to 20 member Board of Directors Developed committee structure –Executive, Program, Development, and Nominations Added expertise to Board –marketing and communications, networking, innovation development, technology specialists Developed non-Board member participation –TIME Teachers, Design Review Committee, informal partnerships Provided support for CFF programs, projects and priorities –consultants, formal partnerships, corporate sponsorships)

Strategic Initiative II: Programs and Services Provide Equipment to JRRTC, including: –Mobile TV Production Van, 5 SONY Video Conferencing Centers, Computers, Servers, Software (est. value $850,000) Created the TIME Initiative –Involved 50 teachers from 18 school districts, developed the TIME Requirements Study and Draft of the Technology Design Framework, consulted with local districts regarding the TIME Vision. Provided High Tech Academic Achievement Scholarships to local students –more than $125,000 to 60 students Established the Innovation Office to assist kocal districts/schools in implementing the TIME Vision. Partnered with local school districts to support innovations –Lemon Grove, Cajon Valley, Grossmont, Sweetwater, Encinitas, San Dieguito, Del Mar, San Ysidro Established the Innovations in Educations Awards and Corporate Sponsorship Programs Supported Special Projects – Log on to the Future, WeatherNet, iVIE, Tech Links for Success, School and Home, LRDC, Universal Locker, MathVision, TIME Initiative Supports Marketing Activities – Synergies, TIMEkeeper, annual event, special events, scholarships, mini-brand platform

Strategic Initiative III: Fundraising and Development Sponsored six CFF Annual Events –generated more than $500,000 Establish the Board Annual Giving Program –raised more than $310,000 since 2001 ALL Board Member Companies have contributed financial resources to CFF –$100,000+ contributors include: Apple, Cox, HNC Software, Gutschow Family Foundation, Hewlett-Packard, QUALCOMM, SAIC, SBC, SDG&E/Sempra Energy, SONY, State of California Increased CFF Donations and Grants –Nokia, Burnham Family Foundation, Learning Frameworks, First National Bank, KSWB, Fair Isaac, San Diego Foundation, T-Sector, Peregrine, Blue Hornet, Basic Link, Wind River, Xerox, Motorola, EDC
