2015 PLAYGROUND EXTENSION Situation: We need funds

DESIGN This year we are planning to extend the playground, we have appreciated your generous help last year in past projects. You have helped fund projects such as the boat project, the rocks, the tree and picnic tables. We need to ask that you help fund this next project. This is the design we plan to build with your help but it is only a draft plan. We plan to add a flying fox low enough so that the younger children can reach them and add more trees and garden here and there. We have consulted parents, teachers and students and the reaction to the plan was positive. This design was thought up and drawn by designer and playground specialist and coloured in by Sophi, Alice and Chloe.

SAFETY This new extension around the sand pit will introduce more solid and easy to grip surfaces such as the rubber, the timber boardwalk and the deck shown on the plan. Theses surfaces will replace sand and loose dirt. This will be very effective and will allow more play space on wet and rainy days. Also the new playground will ensure that people will not become bored and destructive on days that the oval is out of bounds.

COST In total the whole project will cost us $35,000 we have applied for $18,000 as playground redevelopment funds from the government the school will chip in $6,000 dollars to assist. That leaves $11,000 dollars extra which we hope to get from you. Any Questions Thank you on behalf of the SRC
