Marquee Tool Use the Marquee Tool to make selections that are regular in shape Rectangles Squares Ovals Circles

Right click on the Marquee Tool to access Rectangular Marquee Tool –rectangular selection Elliptical Marquee Tool – for a round or elliptical selection Single Column or Single Row Marquee Tool – to select a one-pixel wide area in the image. You can cut, copy or paste the selection to use as a border in another image.
