2 What is Hackathon An event in which computer programmers and others involved in software development and hardware development, including graphic designers, interface designers and project managers, collaborate intensively on software projects within 24-hours time constrain.

4 The mission of the Hack-a-thon is to provide a platform for creators & idea makers to invent new products or improve existing solution in the domain of 3D printing technologies. The aim is to gather community of coders, makers and creative people together in a setting that encourage idea exchange and innovations. -Allows participants to be exposed with 3D printing technologies -Ideas, brainstorming and technical support from Materialise – the 3D printing solution company with the experience of 25 years in the 3D printing industry -Theme revolves around 3D printing & technologies : Communication with 3D printers, 3D scanning, 3D rendering -As outreach program to educate people to the concept of 3D printing Objective & Relevance
