Metamorphosis Art II Media of Choice

What is Metamorphosis?  A change of physical form  Usually occurs during the process of when insects change their form from larva to pupa to imago  Frogs also go through metamorphosis from tadpole to frog

Assignment  Create a process of metamorphosis from an inanimate object to an animal, person or plant.  Show the four stages of the transition in four different drawings  Choose a color scheme for your objects (black and white is an option).

Purpose  Incorporate a color scheme into a work of art  Develop advanced skills with media of choice  Incorporate fine details into your drawing using a variety of textures  Understand the metamorphosis process  Create a composition with four images  Develop neat and clean presentation (craftsmanship)
