INTRODUCTION We have taken the data from the from many students of our college discussion their means of transport for studying college. We studied the amount of time taken by the students and cost of transport to reach to college. We have also suggested the various changes that can be taken in order to make the travel more efficient & cheaper.

● FINANCIAL BENEFITS;- Fuel is the major cost associated withthe driving our own vechicles. ● Walking and travelling by cycling is quite benificial because it ie financially quite viable. ● Travelling by rickshaw is cheaper mode of transportation and it provide employment to poor peoples and free from pollution. ● ENVIRONMENTAL BENEFITS;- Travelling by cycling,walking and rickshaw will create pollution free environment. ● Vehicles emits gases like CO and CO 2 which contribute to global warming. So using cycling, walking & richshaw is better to prevent pollution.

Advantages of public transport ●I●It is very economical. As taking buses & trains is cheaper than using private cars. ●I●It is more environmental frendly. It reduces pollution as there less vehicles driving on the road and then ther will be lesser fumes and less traffic jams. ●O●One of the safety way of travelling br reducing the accidents as on bikes. ●I●It is easily accessible to most of the peoples.

Disadvantages of public transport ● Using public transport is inconvinent as it can be crowded. ● For instance during rush hour buses &metro trains are heavenly crowded. Many a times theives travel through these public transport & hence its not to preferable in case of safety from theives and comfort. ● Public transport do not operates 24 hr.In a day.

Suggested changes ● Instead of using auto students should travel by rickshaw or electric rickshaw because they are pollution free. ● Instead of travelling alone, students should travel in agroup so that fare gets divided. ● Students who travel by buses should get bus passes made so that so that they can travel fairly cheaper.
