"GRAPHIC NOVEL" 1. Create a graphic novel. 2. Pick the pictures you will use to "show" the story. 3. Paste the pictures in Powerpoint. 4.Decide on the "text". The text will become the story. Plan out what you want to say. 5. Add text to "call-outs". 6. It needs to be as long as it needs to be! 7. Use SCHOOL APPROPRIATE pictures! 8. Use a Bitly or Tiny URL citation for each picture you use. (these can go on the last page of your graphic novel). Must include the following: A. Do’s and Don’ts B. Your own personal experience C. Use quotes/advice from fellow classmates D.Your graphic novel should be 4-6 slides long, similar in composition to the examples shown. E.Include a page for picture citations at the end of your graphic novel. This is not included in the 4-6 slides required to tell your story – this is an additional slide.

TOPIC Use the story we read in class and turn it into a "graphic novel". 3 OPTIONS 1. Keep the story the SAME and create it as a graphic novel. 2. Make a PREQUEL. A story that goes BEFORE the one we read in class. 3. Make a SEQUEL. A story that goes AFTER the one we read in class.
Do’s and Don’t’s of Middle School Don’t wait until the night before a project is due to start. Create a plan and make sure you spend time each day on elements of the project
