Case Study 1 – Integrating using a thematic approach Using a theme based approach to integrate the delivery and assessment of CGEA units across the domains of personal and community using a fund raising activity.

Case Study 2 – Using the CGEA as part of Literacy and Numeracy Support Provides different approaches to and advice on the process for using a CGEA numeracy unit to support learners undertaking the Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician. Approaches include: LN teachers working in the VET classrooms with the VET teachers LN teachers running short workshops in VET classes on tailored material as requested by the VET teacher. Up front sessions run by LN teachers to prepare students for their VET course. One on one or small group appointments to assist student complete course requirements

Case Study 3 – Integrating Literacy and Numeracy In life, literacy and numeracy are often closely interwoven in the different literacy practices in which we engage. Case Study 3 examines the integration of 2 literacy and 1 numeracy units across the two domains of personal and learning using a thematic approach of My Neighbourhood which: Focuses on local library Incorporates development of digital literacy
