Unit 5 Objectives Students will produce rhymes. Students will identify syllables in words. Students will locate and blend the final consonant sounds /m/ and /s/. Students will review the names of the letters of the alphabet. Students will begin to attain mastery in attaching the /a/ sound to the letter As.

Read a book form the Leveled Classroom Library. Students will draw a picture and write a story about times in school that they have used perseverance.
