Sovereignty of God makes REST possible Human free will makes RESPONSIBILITY necessary

God’s promise is fulfilled through His sovereign choice God’s choice, not human effort God’s choice, not human tradition God’s choice, not human virtue

God’s promise is fulfilled through His sovereign choice God’s choice demonstrates God’s mercy Romans 3:10–12 “None is righteous, no, not one; no one understands; no one seeks for God. All have turned aside; together they have become worthless; no one does good, not even one.”

God’s promise is fulfilled through His sovereign choice God’s choice demonstrates God’s mercy 1 Corinthians 1:27–29 But God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong; God chose what is low and despised in the world... so that no human being might boast in the presence of God.

God’s promise is fulfilled through His sovereign choice God’s choice demonstrates God’s mercy Ephesians 1:3-6 The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ... has blessed us... chosen us... predestined us to adoption... to the praise of the glory of His grace....
