Read the passage “What’s In Kate’s Lunch Box” You will read the passage and/or listen to the passage as it is read aloud You can have the story read and reread to you using the audacity program and/or a prerecorded video

Word Processing In order to type your answers you must be familiar with a word processing program. Go to the wink tutorial link below to learn how to use the word processing program: F:\edu505\tutorial.htm

Handout You will receive a handout that has the questions for you to answer and two activities that correspond with the reading.

Question Number 1 You will type and answer the following questions: 1. What was in Kate’s lunch box?

Question #2 2. Who had tomato soup and a banana for lunch?

Question #3 3. Where does this story take place?

Question #4 4. What surprise did Will find I his lunch box?

#5. Assignment 5. Using the tux paint tutorial and the tux paint program, you will make an illustration of what you like to find in your lunch box. For instructions to use tux paint click on the following link F:\edu505\tuxpainttutorial.htm

#6. Assignment Write a five sentence paragraph detailing what you would like to find in your lunch box.

Summative Assessment You will complete an assessment using a passage you have not read before. It will consist of : 4 questions An illustration Writing a paragraph
