Topic Relevance through Current Events and Podcasting Presenter: Ken Baldauf Program in Interdisciplinary Computing - FSU

FSU’s New Program in Interdisciplinary Computing Working to raise the level of computer competence across all disciplines at FSU by: Designing new computing and technology courses that address discipline-specific needs. Enabling existing computing and technology courses to be opened up to non-majors. Assisting teachers in injecting technology concepts and content into existing courses.

Why consider technology-based exercises in non-tech courses? Provides access to subject-related materials from numerous sources Opens opportunities for information sharing Brings relevance to subject matter Engages students in subject matter through different media Sharpens tech skills making students more marketable Allows students to innovate!
