Who wrote the Gospel of John? Answer: There was no known writer of the Gospel of John, though it used to be accredited to John the Beloved Disciple.

Where was the Gospel Written? Answer: Ephesus, which was in the portion of Asia that was ruled by Rome.

Who was John’s Audience? Answer: Jewish-Christians, but Gentile Christians would also be accepted, for the group was very diverse.

What was John’s Gospel written on? Answer: Papyrus

When was the Gospel Written? Answer: The 1 st Century

What does the washing of the feet of the Apostles symbolize? Answer: Symbolizes that Jesus wanted his apostles to think of him as an equal to them.

When Jesus refers to himself as the Good Shepherd, what does he mean? Answer: We should follow him for he will lead us to God’s Kingdom, and he will never let any of us stray from the path of Righteousness.
