Story by Ho Chi Pan (4B) Alliance Primary School Tai Hang Tung

In the forest, there was a small house

Mrs. Rabbit and her son Sam lived in the house.

They were very poor

One day, Mr. Dog gave them some seeds

Mrs. Rabbit dug a hole outside her house.

Sam put the seeds in the hole.

Everyday Sam watered the plant.

The tree grew tall and strong.

It had a lot of chestnuts

One night, the wind blew hard.

All chestnuts dropped on the ground.

Sam was sad.

“Let’s pick up the chestnuts” Mrs. Rabbit said.

They carried the chestnuts to the market.

Mrs. Rabbit fired the chestnuts.

The good smell passed through the market.

A lot of people came to buy their chestnuts.

They sold all the chestnuts. They had a lot of money.
