Be Safe Be Respectful Be Responsible

Be Safe In the Classroom What does it look like? What does it sound like?  Keep your hands, feet, objects and unkind words to yourself  Keep attractive nuisances at home  Push your chair in when you stand up  Let adults know when there is a problem- Are you trying to keep someone safe or get someone in trouble?  Other examples????? Outside the Classroom What does it look like? What does it sound like?  Keep your hands, feet, objects and unkind words to yourself  Let adults know when there is a problem- Are you trying to keep someone safe or get someone in trouble?  Wash your hands after using the bathroom  Walk, instead of running  Other examples?????

What should you do if you interrupt someone while they are talking? Keep talking or apologize Apologize Why? You need to raise your hand speak because that is being respectful Apologizing is a good choice because you are being respectful to the person you interrupted. Make Good Choices

Video While watching the video, think about what the students are trying to help the teacher understand? After watching the video, explain to your partner what the teacher learned from the students.
