Youth Justice Team Children and young people can be referred to the Youth Justice Team in 4 distinct ways: - Referral from the Children’s Reporter - Referral from another Social Work Team (5+ offences in 6 months or 1 serious offence) - Through the Court System for the preparation and monitoring of an Order - For diversion from prosecution

The aim of the Intensive Support Service (ISS) is: to provide integrated and holistic support as a viable alternative to secure accommodation or custody for young people up to 18 years of age. If ISS has not proven sufficient to manage risk then a Movement Restriction Condition (MRC) may be deemed necessary. Intervention ISS & ISMS
