'In the current climate work experience is more important than ever before and as a school we are extremely grateful to Bernicia for giving our learners the opportunity to learn about the real world of work. The skills and behaviours our learners have developed in just a few days are as valuable for their career prospects as many of the things they have learnt in the classroom over the last two years.' Mr. Mark Fox The Ashington Learning Partnership are incredibly grateful to Bernicia for the opportunity to collaborate with one another on Careers, Work Related Learning and Enterprise Education projects. The ALP and Bernicia hope to continue to work in partnership to enable young people from the Ashington locality to achieve their potential and have the opportunity to become responsible and effective citizens, employees, employers, entrepreneurs and leaders of the future. We have seen over the last few months how our students have developed and grown with the support of their mentors from Bernicia and we would like to place on record our sincere thanks to Bernicia but also our students for seizing the chance to make the most of a fantastic learning opportunity. Mr. Andy Gaskell Feed back from schools
