Introduction  Atmospheric pollution is evident in Arizona.  The social, economic and environmental perspectives on atmospheric pollution have opened our eyes on the different strategies that are available in solving the issue.  Atmospheric pollution has tremendous effect on the environment.  Sustainability plans therefore should be aimed reducing the impacts of atmospheric pollution on the environment.  This should be done alongside with the approaches for reducing air pollution.

Atmospheric pollution  Atmospheric pollution is the introduction of biological molecules that are harmful to the atmosphere of the earth.  This is of great concern since it has tremendous negative impacts on the environment.  It can cause death to the habitats of the area, diseases thus causing a lot of damages.  The effects are felt on both local and global level.  The contaminants of the atmosphere come from different sources which react together forming the hazardous materials in the atmosphere.

Social, economic, and environmental perspectives on atmospheric pollution  The social perspective on atmospheric pollution recognizes the physical existence of air pollution.  Emphasis is made on the analytical need to separate the social existence of problems from their chemical and physical existence.  Atmospheric population has many economic impacts.  There are costs of atmospheric pollution in an economic perspective.  Environmental perspectives entail the effects that air pollution has on the environment.

Effects of atmospheric pollution in Arizona  Atmospheric pollution has tremendous effects on the environment and its inhabitants.  The valley of Arizona for instance carries a lot of dirt, toxic metals, ammonia from farm fertilizer, and ozone that results to irritation of the nasal tissues.  Atmospheric pollution results to acidification, eutrophication, and ground level ozone. There might be chemical reactions that involve air pollutants leading to the acidic compounds creation.  Acidic commodities may kill trees; they may also harm animals, fish and the wildlife.  Eutrophication results from the growth in algae in the lakes which make the conditions for other organisms unconducive.  Atmospheric pollution causes chemical reactions that create air pollutants resulting to poisonous gases

Approaches to addressing atmospheric pollution  Atmospheric pollution must be addressed.  The strategies for reducing air pollution include pollution prevention, control technologies and control measures.  All these strategies are implemented using either regulations or market based programs.  Control strategies give a combination voluntary measures and also mandatory controls that should be implemented on a global scale. These strategies have been effective.  They increase the energy efficiency in the atmosphere.

Sustainability plans  Sustainability plans help to create a conducive environment. They are aimed at reducing air pollution.  They ensure that they provide an integrated approach in tackling indoor and outdoor air pollution.  This takes into account the environmental, economic and social consequences.  They are therefore better integrated to the planning process for the sake o national development.

Stakeholders and their roles  The different stakeholders in the sustainability plan include local community residents, governmental agencies, and nonprofit organizations.  Community residents are already aware of the sources of pollution for the atmosphere.  They will take their efforts towards the mitigation planning of the right decision to be taken in avoiding pollution.  Government agencies on the other hand help in giving subsidies for the strategies that are supposed to help in the reduction of air pollution.  Nonprofit organizations also chip in order to ensure that they become socially responsible in the community.

Review of the plan  The sustainability plan is more successful than the current actions.  This is because it is aimed at giving an integrated approach to in solving thematic issues in the environment.  This is done in a balanced way thus making sure that there is a sustainable development through social, economic and environmental effectiveness.  It is also key to influencing lifestyles thus aiding in the application of the policy options.  Thus is also critical in making sure that it strengthens good governance at all the levels.
