Dr. Landrum First Day Procedures, Schedule, & Syllabus

Schedules All students who are present in class should have a GOLD schedule. If not, you must obtain one. If you have a schedule signed by guidance, you are okay. 10 th graders report to the cafeteria 11 th graders report to the MPR

Attendance Who is here? Period 2: Live Head Count No one can leave the room Check hallway Count by grade level No one is released until the announcement has been made for the end of the Live Head Count.

Student Agenda Planners Who? Everyone is required to have one How much? $5 Where? Discipline If you do not have a planner yet, please secure your schedule in your notebook.

How are you going home? Who doesn’t know their bus route number? If not, give me your name so I can submit with the attendance.

Sign-Out Procedures Before you can leave a classroom, you must sign out in the sign out book by the door. Look at the time on the watch and record the exit time Record the location, period, and your name When you return, sign in and record the time If you are late to class, come in quietly, sign in on the log, and take your seat. Do not cause a disruption. Restroom use is for in between classes. If there is an emergency, you will quietly sign out and leave. If at all possible, do not leave during instruction.

Traffic Flow To help with congestion, do not congregate in stairwells, on sidewalks, or in the hallways. Remember to walk to the right down halls and up/down the stairs. Get to class on time. The first 5 minutes is the most important, as it sets up the rest of the class period.

Dismissal Procedures Students are dismissed by the teacher, NOT the bell. When the bell rings, I will check supplies, materials, and desks, and each group will be dismissed. Do not pack up early unless instructed to do so.
