Bright Blue Futures

“Be ever watchful for the opportunity to shelter little children with the umbrella of your charity.” - Conrad N. Hilton, Last Will and Testament, 1979 Just as we greet our Guests with a warm smile, comfortable accommodations, and a dedication to meeting their needs, we can help make life more hospitable by living out our values in service of those beyond our walls.

With a growing population of 1.3 billion and rising, youth are the key to our future, yet many lack the basic support, education and opportunities they need to thrive. Hilton believes that with the right support, every young person can have a brighter future and together, we can create a better world.

Yusuf, 14 He was orphaned when his family passed away in a house fire and has lived on the street for more than a year, with few friends and no one to take him in. He’s tried to stay at shelters, but they are overcrowded. He needs support in meeting his basic needs and is looking for a sign that the future is going to be all right. Sarah, 18 She’s lived on the streets after being abused by a family friend. She stayed in school, but was often too tired to concentrate after sleeping on friends’couches or on the curb, and she never graduated. She loves to cook, but she forgot about that for a long time. Now she’s seeking a second chance. YOUTH LIKE YUSUF AND SARAH…
