Responsibility

What is Responsibility? Knowing and doing what is expected of me

“The quality of a person’s life is in direct proportion to their commitment to excellence, regardless of their chosen field of endeavor.” —Vince Lombardi

1. Know What’s Expected Make the effort to clarify who is responsible for what.

2. Keep Your Commitments Do everything possible to keep your word. If you can’t, take ownership of the situation and communicate with others as soon as possible.

3. Do Your Best Pursue excellence, no matter who is watching.

Discussion Starters 1.What are some of the different “hats” you wear or roles you play? 2.What can you do when things don’t go as well as expected? How can you make things better? 3.What motivates or inspires you to do your best, even when you get tired or frustrated?
