What is Zipply? This project is a complete supply chain scheduling and planning tool. The main purpose of the project is to enhance the traditional supply chain management processes by automating the scheduling and planning in real time.
What is Zipply? The tool will –Schedule the deliveries –Notify the management, –Reschedule and make contingency plans for any unforeseen events –Based on real time vehicle location information –And the time required for the vehicle to reach a destination.
Aim and Goal To automate every aspect of supply chain management, and To be deployed in every organization dealing with complex supply chain patterns.
Target Market Main target audience for our project would include –Fast moving consumer goods companies, –Food chains, –Courier companies, –Whole sale retailers –And high end online stores.
Functionality Managers Assign jobs to the delivery persons And track the orders. Client placing and order And tracking it on the map. Platform : Smartphones and Computers
Functionality The service provider side will work with –registering different delivery persons on the system and –assigning incoming orders to them based on the number of orders they already have on cart.
Our Client G-Fleet –G-Fleet is a service by which customers can order grocery from their homes. –The delivery personals are average people who wants to make extra money through G- Fleet.
Client Requirements 1.The shoppers are Part time with a changing weekly schedule. The API is supposed to forward orders to active shoppers who are nearest to the stores. 2.Every order is localized based on the store and its locality and the shoppers are also localized. 3.Gives an ability to acknowledge orders by the shoppers on FCFS basis.
Client Requirements 4. Should be able to a lot maximum of 2 orders at one time on the basis of the delivery time and location of previous orders in-case of all shoppers having one order 5. Allows tracking of each order.
Client Requirements 6. Should give an estimated time of arrival from the time order is dispatched from the store. 7. Should provide traffic condition to shoppers 8. Should also provide routes to the given address to the shopper.
Technical Design The solution we are aiming at providing will be based on the –Google API for Maps, shortest distance, traffic information And route navigation. The tool will work based on real time traffic information and providing intelligent scheduling with shortest travelling route.
Technical Design The job assignment algorithm will be used at the back end to provide the desirable functionality.
