+ Adjectives Students will all receive a handout about Adjectives and an Adjectives Wheel 1 Place the Adjectives handout in the Handout section of your binder Place the Adjectives Wheel 1 in your reader’s notebook section of your binder We will complete the Adjectives Wheel 1 together as a class. You will complete the Adjectives Wheel 2 for homework

+ “Looking for America” continued… Students will be given time to complete the worksheet that goes with the story “Looking for America.” After all students have completed the worksheet, we will go over the answers as a class. Place these worksheets in your reader’s notebook section of your binder.

+ Making Connections Give each student a response starter Listen as I go over with you how to put together your response starter to use during the reading.

+ Making Connections-”The Lorax” *Listen as I read “The Lorax,” fill in your response starter as I read. After the story is completed, each student will be given a worksheet titled “The Lorax.” Students should complete the worksheet by answering questions about the story. Place the worksheet in your reader’s notebook section of your binder.
