Living It – How have you been living; Praying the Lord’s Prayer?

The Lord’s Prayer Matthew 6:9-13 King James Version (KJV) 9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. 11 Give us this day our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

Matthew 6:9-13 New International Version (NIV) The Lord’s Prayer Matthew 6:9-13 New International Version (NIV) 9 “This, then, is how you should pray: “‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, 10 your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. 11 Give us today our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation,[a] but deliver us from the evil one.[b]’ Footnotes: Matthew 6:13 The Greek for temptation can also mean testing. Matthew 6:13 Or from evil; some late manuscripts one, for yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

AND LEAD US NOT INTO TEMPTATION Matthew 26:41 New American Standard Bible (NASB) 41 Keep watching and praying that you may not enter into temptation; the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.” James 1:13 New American Standard Bible (NASB) 13 Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, and He Himself does not tempt anyone. 1 Corinthians 10:13 New American Standard Bible (NASB) 13 No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it.

BUT DELIVER US FROM EVIL (OR THE EVIL ONE) FOR THINE IS THE KINGDOM, AND THE POWER, AND THE GLORY, FOREVER. AMEN

TAKE TIME THIS WEEK TO CONTINUE TO PRAY THROUGH THE LORD’S PRAYER TAKE TIME THIS WEEK TO CONTINUE TO PRAY THROUGH THE LORD’S PRAYER. RECEIVE HIS STRENGTH IN THE MIDST OF THE TRIALS YOU ARE GOING THROUGH. REJOICE IN HIS DELIVERANCE FROM THE PLANS AND WORKS OF THE ENEMY. PRAISE HIM AND ACKNOWLEDGE HIS KINGDOM, HIS POWER, AND HIS GLORY!
