A wolves life By: Tommy Davis

The wolf family This research report is about wolves. Wolves come from a family including dingoes, red wolves, gray wolves, coyotes and more.

The look of a wolf They have a long tail, shaggy fur, white underbelly, a snout, and paws. There protection and hunting tools are fangs and claws.

Were wolves live They exist in most parts of North America Canada, and parts of Russia and china. They live in coniferous forests. A coniferous forest is a forest with evergreens, pines, and usually has something to do with mountains.

Wolf food chain The wolf food chain starts at water. The water goes to all kinds of plants. The plants go to the animals The animals go to the wolf. The wolf does not face many natural predators. It does face the danger of hunters.

Life cycle It lives 10 years or less in the wild Pups at 2-3 years begin to hunt with the pack.

Why there important Wolves keep the level of forest animals to a reasonable number. People are eradicating wolves in a lot of states to earn money. Wolf population is declining and we need to do something.
