The Kids In Kenya Do you see these happy kids? What if they had a school? Do you ever wonder how kids will turn out when they’re older? Highlands Middle School Students are helping the kids have a better future by building a school. You can help too.

Ed Colina Ed Colina graduated from St. Xavier in 1972. He began teaching and then eleven years later he started the Ed Colina foundation. The Ed Colina foundation helps provide emergency food to the poor people in Africa, provides education, improves the health to those in need, and helps the women have control over their own lives.

Why Were Helping Negatives The kids need a better future because education helps a lot! By building a school, it will help they’re education. Negatives The girls have to do chores before going to school. The walk to school is about 8 kilometers. They have a lack of books and uniforms. If you don’t have a uniform then you can’t go to school because of they’re culture.

Masai men and women The women have more work to do than the men. All the animals that they have are owned by the men. The women do all the house work. The men go hunting for meat while leaving their children and wives back home. They are nomadic people.

Please help!!!!! You can help donate by: Giving Highlands Middle School money to build the school in Kenya. Going to freerice.com Going to edcolinafoundation.org Making a difference to little kids’ future.
