Morning Routine Come in and get out composition notebook – Date, daily geography question, DOL (orange sheets), Daily Precept Read with partner Fill out planners Go to the bathroom and get a drink before 8:18. Make sure you have everything you need for the day by 8:18 – you WILL NOT be able to go get anything from your locker once class begins. ALL NEEDS TO BE DONE BY 8:18!! I WILL COLLECT THEM EVERY FRIDAY FOR POINTS.

PE, Music, Art, Band/Choir Art is next door – you will have art class on You will have PE every day of the week with Mr. Strasko in the AC – you need to bring clothes and deodorant EVERY day! Music – with Mrs. Meiners Band/Choir – Band is T/Th/F Choir is M/W

Homework Math homework almost EVERY DAY Social Studies will be mainly in class work as will Science but there may be homework Reading – You are required to read 20 MINUTES EVERY NIGHT. It will increase to 30 in October!

Work time If you are not in band or choir you will have a study hall every day during 6 th period. You WILL WORK ON HOMEWORK during that time – if you are all done there are plenty of practice things you can do and when you finish all of those you can READ Anytime you are done with work in class you may either read or practice math facts, etc. – when in doubt READ ALWAYS have a free read book at your desk!

Math Still Saxon You will be doing a lot of INDEPENDENT WORK I want you to work through the problem and then if you have questions you can come to my desk and we can work through it together
